OUR MISSION
Restructuring our national standard for early childhood care and education during the first five years of development through the BG Progressive Five Standards of Service is our highest mission. Our goal is to promote literacy and academic excellence amongst children of minority groups, single parent homes and economically disadvantaged households.

OUR PHILOSOPHY                                            We firmly believe that every child is entitled to a quality education regardless of his or her age, race or socioeconomic status and that all children are born with natural talents that are recognizable during the early stages of childhood development. These talents we define as individual genius must be identified and developed through unhampered access to progressive academic materials and through aggressive study efforts put forth collectively by caregivers, educators and parents.

BG FIVE STANDARDS OF SERVICE

1. Provide a warm, safe, healthy and stimulating learning environment for all children entrusted to our care.

2. Require that all children have access to progressive academic materials and practices relative to the sciences, classical arts, linguistics, and proper health and nutrition regardless of age, sex, religion or economic status.

 3. Ignite the underlying passion and desires to learn of each child by identifying and beginning the educational and developmental process of each child’s individual genius/natural talents and interests.

 4. Capitalize on each child’s new found passion for learning in all other areas of his/her basic educational studies.

5. Ensure each child's right to continue a well rounded education by providing unhampered access to progressive academic materials throughout grades K-12.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS FROM OUR FOUNDER

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our parents, children and staff for supporting our mission and helping us to achieve our primary and intermediate goals. Making higher education and reasonably priced child care attainable for economically disadvantage families has been my primary goal since I became a mother in 2009.

I created the BG Progressive Childcare Service and Curriculum as well as our Parent Network out of my personal desire for higher educational standards for my 3 year old daughter and a need for reasonably priced child care and other parent resources.

With our unbeatable child care service rates and complimentary services we are providing parents with high quality care at rates that are conducive to protecting the financial integrity of local families.

With our Advanced Pre k Curriculum we are preparing our 0-5 year olds to begin kindergarten ahead of their fellow classmates being advanced in areas such as math, multiple sciences and even speaking several languages. Our program also helps to supplement the educational curriculum of local broken public school systems that have fallen short of their responsibilities in preparing our children k-12th grade to compete and succeed in a global job market.

In keeping with our goal of providing affordable resources for our parents, BG Progressive also provides our parents with unlimited access to our BG Progressive Parent Network. The BG Progressive Parent Network is a cooperative of parent professionals that allows parents access to other parent professionals through which parents are able to exchange goods and services with one another in lieu of monetary compensation.

The BG Progressive Parent Network serves to help struggling families find resources and services at little to no cost while helping parents to supplement income by building clientele for the services they provide. The BG Progressive Parent Network also helps to stimulate local economies by helping parents to start and build small businesses within their communities.

As we continue to build and improve upon our services to communities nationwide, we hope that the feeling of community pride and individual ability to make a difference within the communities in which we reside and the lives we touch on a daily basis becomes infectious.

FOUNDERS EXPERIENCE

+4.5 years as a group home counselor for at risk youth ages 0-18. This includes working with children and young adults struggling with substance, sexual, physical, emotional and psychological abuse as well as children dealing with physical, emotional and psychological disabilities and disorders.

+10 years experience as a caregiver for various elderly clients which includes a position as a Dietary Director for a top rated skilled nursing and rehab facility where our director provided nutritional therapy for clients with health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, etc.

+12 years experience as a classically trained executive chef specializing in French, Caribbean, California, Asian and Asian Fusion. Our founder has worked in a management capacity for numerous five star-five diamond hotels and resorts.

+8 years experience as a personal chef, nutritionist and fitness instructor.
